Marco Wagner illustrates portrait of Ida Scudder

Marco Wagner recently illustrated this portrait of Ida Scudder for the German magazine Chrismon.
Ida Scudder came from a long line of medical missionaries, and from the early 1900's - on, she dedicated her life to the plight of women in India.  Marco always comes up with the most interesting portraits!

Marco Wagner 's portrait of Sojourner Truth

Here is a recent illustration by Marco Wagner: a portrait of Sojourner Truth.  He was commissioned by the German magazine, Chrismon, to create the image of the well known abolitionist and women's rights activist.  We love how Marco's style translates into such unique portraiture!
