New fashion illustrations by Mariya Paskovsky

Here are some new illustrations by Mariya Paskovsky.  She is using a much more dramatic color palette than we are used to seeing in her work, and we're loving the bold contrast of the black background and the intense colors. Mariya created this series as a proposal for the graduation fashion show poster of UQAM: École supérieure de mode de Montréal.

The first illustration is simply  an image of a fashionista with a lot of details, fashion
accessories, etc.  The other two images are based on what Mariya considers to be the most significant points in the history of men's and women's fashion.  As Mariya describes them - for women: "the 1920's, when the skirts and hair suddenly became short"... and for men: "the 60's and 70's, when the plain and boring suit was suddenly was transformed to a bright, colorful, creative, and very young look..."
